Patient-Centered Design

Madison, WI

StudioCraft assisted our dealer partner on a project for SSM Health’s outpatient eye clinic in Madison, Wisconsin. Kahler Slater was the design team responsible for crafting the vision for the space.

Designed to replace traditional registration desks, the stations create a more patient-centered experience with a combination of check-in stations and smaller concierge kiosks for staff assistance.

Working closely with the designer and client through the entire design process, StudioCraft helped shape a solution that balances beauty, function, and accessibility.

The stations feature elegant legs made of veneer and a hand-crafted hardwood flared top, stained to match the facility’s finishes. Solid surface countertops were selected to resemble marble while maintaining durability and for the ability to conceal cable management within seamless edges.

The finished kiosks now serve as a focal point for the clinic’s lobby, setting the tone for a welcoming and efficient patient experience.
