First Presbyterian Church

StudioCraft partnered Elevate Studio to manufacture this storytelling play area for First Presbyterian Church of Flint. We worked closely with architect Jim VanderMolen to execute his vision of tree-themed dividers and an elaborate, durable, kid-friendly playscape.

The colorful play towers top out at over fourteen feet tall. The structures inside include multiple tiers of climbing and play elements wrapped in a black security mesh to ensure safety.

The semi-permeable tree room divider, cut from Baltic birch by CNC, makes it feel as though the play area is surrounded by a forest. StudioCraft also created a coordinating acrylic lighting structure to match the seating below.
